Mike’s Repair Shop (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use this website, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Contact info you submit — name, phone number, email address, service address, and what’s wrong with your appliance. Provided by you via our quote form, by phone, or by text.
• Service records — what we worked on, parts used, payment received. Stored locally for warranty & tax purposes.
• Standard web analytics — pages visited, referrer, approximate location. We use this to improve the site, not to track individuals.

How we use it

• To schedule and complete the repair you requested.
• To text or email you about your appointment, parts on order, or warranty service.
• To send occasional service reminders (annual maintenance, vent cleaning). Opt out anytime — just reply STOP.
• To answer follow-up questions and provide referrals to other tradespeople when we’re the wrong shop for the job.

Who we share with

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third party.

We don’t sell or rent your contact information. We share what’s necessary with: our parts distributor (to order parts for your repair), payment processors (when you pay by card), and Google/Trustindex (only if you leave a review). That’s it.

Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we typically send 2–4 messages per appointment (confirmations, reminders, and a post-repair follow-up). Message and data rates may apply. Cookies

We use a small set of cookies: WordPress session cookies (only when logged into the admin), Google Analytics (anonymous traffic analysis), and Forminator (to keep your half-filled form data while you’re on the page). None track you across other websites.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to: (a) tell you what we have on file about you, (b) correct anything that’s wrong, or (c) delete your record entirely (note: we may have to keep service records for tax / warranty reasons under state law). Just email or call us — see the Contact page.
