These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of mikerepairshop.com and the services provided by Mike’s Repair Shop (“we”, “us”, “our”), including phone and SMS-based appointment booking and our repair services. By contacting us, booking an appointment, or providing your phone number, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Mike’s Repair Shop provides in-home diagnostic and repair services for household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, and similar) within approximately 30 miles of Spokane, Washington. Appointments are scheduled by phone, SMS, or through this website and are subject to technician availability.
2. Diagnostic Fees and Pricing
A diagnostic fee applies to each in-home visit. The amount depends on distance from Spokane and is disclosed before we dispatch. The diagnostic fee is waived when you proceed with the repair. Any repair quote is provided on-site after diagnosis; you are free to accept or decline the repair.
3. SMS Appointment Reminder Program
Program name: Mike’s Repair Shop Appointment Reminders.
What you’ll receive: SMS reminders about an appointment you have booked with us.
Message frequency: up to 2 messages per booked appointment — one approximately 24 hours before and one approximately 2 hours before your scheduled appointment. Additional messages may be sent if you reschedule.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge you to receive these messages; your carrier may.
How to opt in: by providing your phone number when you book an appointment over the phone, by SMS, or through any form on mikerepairshop.com that asks for a mobile number, you consent to receive these reminders.
How to get HELP: reply HELP to any message from us, or call +1 (509) 321-4044.
How to opt out: reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one final confirmation text, and no further reminders will be sent to that number.
Supported carriers: compatible with major US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: your phone number is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
4. Appointment Policies
- Cancellation and rescheduling: you may cancel or reschedule free of charge by calling us or by speaking with our AI receptionist. We appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.
- No-show: if we arrive at the scheduled address and no one is available, we may charge the diagnostic fee for the wasted trip.
- Access: you are responsible for ensuring the technician can reach and access the appliance safely. If we cannot access the appliance, the diagnostic fee still applies.
5. Warranty
Repairs performed by Mike’s Repair Shop come with a limited 30-day warranty on the specific part replaced and the labor performed, covering the same failure mode. The warranty does not cover new issues, misuse, or damage from third-party service. Manufacturer warranty on new parts is passed through as offered by the manufacturer.
6. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service by the methods disclosed on-site (cash, card, or check as available). We do not collect payment through this website or by SMS.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mike’s Repair Shop is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to our services, the website, or the SMS program. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
8. Website Use
You agree not to misuse this website — including attempting to interfere with its operation, scrape content at scale, or upload malicious code. The content on mikerepairshop.com is provided for informational purposes and may be updated at any time.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington.
